The Restore Sutherland Springs project continues to add partners who are donating goods and services to the construction effort. Launched by the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and Myrick, Gurosky & Associates (MG&A), Restore Sutherland Springs was created to construct a new worship facility for First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs after the Nov. 5th, 2017 shooting that claimed the lives of 26 people.
MG&A offered its services in leading the construction process. They specialize in providing expertise during the development, design and construction phases of new facilities. Since 1993, their firm has overseen the construction of over 250 churches as well as healthcare, institutional, office and retail projects.
“When we learned about this opportunity to serve First Baptist Sutherland Springs after everything their church and community had been through, we could not wait to help them recover in this small, tangible way,” said Scott Gurosky, president of MG&A.
Gurosky and his team at MG&A have been essential in connecting construction partners to the project, and the list has been growing considerably since NAMB and MG&A launched Restore Sutherland Springs on March 27.
NAMB is paying for the buildings on behalf of Southern Baptists, but much of the material and many of the services are being donated by businesses. Any company who wishes to donate materials or services can do so by contacting Paul Head at phead@mgandassociates.com.
